How to View Bank-Wise Reconciled Report in ChequeGuru
Learn how to use the Bank Reconciliation Report to match issued cheques against your bank statement in ChequeGuru.
The Bank Wise Reconciled Report lets you match every transaction in ChequeGuru against your official bank statement — identifying cheques not yet presented, deposits not yet credited, and any discrepancies between your books and the bank's records.
- 1. Open the report. Go to Reports → Bank Wise Reconciled.
- 2. Select bank account and date range. Choose the account and the statement period you are reconciling against.
- 3. Generate the report. Click Generate Report. All transactions for the period appear with a Reconciled status column.
- 4. Compare with your bank statement. Open your bank statement (from net banking or a PDF). Go through each entry.
- 5. Mark transactions as reconciled. For each transaction that appears on the bank statement, tick the Reconciled checkbox. Click Save after each batch of entries.
- 6. Review unreconciled items. Highlighted (unreconciled) rows are typically post-dated cheques not yet presented, deposits in transit, or bank charges not yet recorded in ChequeGuru.
- 7. Review the summary. The bottom of the report shows total reconciled vs. total issued amounts. The difference should match your bank statement closing balance.
- 8. Export. Click Export to download the complete reconciliation as an Excel file for your accounts or auditor.
