1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using ChequeGuru cheque printing software ("the Software") or this website ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software or the Site.

2. License grant

Upon purchasing a valid license, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use ChequeGuru on a single computer for your personal or business use within India.

3. Free trial

The free trial version of ChequeGuru is fully functional but limited in the number of cheques you can print. The trial is provided as-is to evaluate the Software before purchase. No payment details are required to download the trial.

4. Payment and refunds

License purchases are processed by our third-party payment processor. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required.

Due to the digital nature of software licenses, we generally do not offer refunds after a license key has been issued and activated. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Software, contact our support team and we will work to resolve it. Refunds may be considered at our discretion for unresolved technical failures.

5. Accuracy of cheque printing

ChequeGuru is a tool to assist with cheque printing. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of all information printed on cheques before signing and issuing them — including payee names, amounts, dates, and account numbers. We are not liable for losses arising from incorrectly printed cheques, printer calibration errors, or use of the Software on non-standard cheque paper.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Software or Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software license.

8. Updates

We may release updates to the Software from time to time. Minor updates and bug fixes are typically free for existing license holders. Major version upgrades may require a new license purchase. We will communicate update policies at the time of release.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your license if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Continued use of the Software or Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
