How to Manage Cheques in ChequeGuru

Learn how to view, edit, cancel, and reprint issued cheques in ChequeGuru.

The Issued Cheques screen is your central register — every cheque ChequeGuru prints is logged here automatically. You can edit pending cheques, cancel them, or reload the details for a reprint in seconds.

  1. 1. Open the cheque register. Go to Transactions → Issued Cheques. All cheques appear in date order.
  2. 2. Filter the list. Use the From / To date pickers and the Bank Account dropdown to narrow results.
  3. 3. Open a cheque record. Click any row to see the full detail: payee, amount in figures, amount in words, cheque number, date, and status.
  4. 4. Edit a pending cheque. If the cheque has not yet been presented at the bank, click Edit, make the necessary changes, then Save. ChequeGuru updates the register.
  5. 5. Cancel a cheque. Select the cheque and click Cancel. The record is retained with a Cancelled status — kept in the register for audit and reconciliation, excluded from totals.
  6. 6. Reprint a cheque. Click the Reprint icon. Load a fresh blank cheque leaf and click Print — all details are pre-filled.
  7. 7. Export to Excel. Click Export to download the filtered cheque list for your records or accountant.
