How to View Account Report in ChequeGuru
Learn how to view a complete account transaction report with running balance for any bank account in ChequeGuru.
The Account Report is a complete ledger view for any bank account — every cheque issued, every deposit received, every withdrawal recorded, with a running balance after each entry. It is the go-to report for your accountant or for monthly account reviews.
- 1. Open Account Report. Go to Reports → Account Report.
- 2. Select the bank account. Choose the account from the dropdown.
- 3. Set the date range. Enter From and To dates. Leave both blank to see the full transaction history from day one.
- 4. Generate. Click Generate Report.
- 5. Review the ledger. Transactions appear in date order: opening balance, then each cheque, deposit, and withdrawal. A running balance column shows the account balance after every entry.
- 6. Filter by type. Use the Type dropdown to show only Cheques, only Deposits, or only Withdrawals if you need a focused view.
- 7. Export. Click Export to download the full account ledger as Excel — ready to hand to your CA or use in Tally/Excel bookkeeping.
