How to Use Sample Cheque Templates in ChequeGuru
Learn how to browse, preview, and apply pre-configured bank cheque templates in ChequeGuru.
ChequeGuru ships with 25+ pre-configured templates for India's major banks — HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, Canara, Union Bank, and more. Each template has the correct field positions for that bank's CTS-2010 cheque leaf, so you rarely need to manually measure or adjust anything.
- 1. Open your bank account. Go to Setup → Bank Accounts and click on the account you want to configure.
- 2. Open template settings. Click Cheque Template, then Browse Sample Templates.
- 3. Find your bank. Scroll or search the list of bank templates by name.
- 4. Preview the layout. Click Preview to see field positions — payee, date, amount in figures, amount in words — overlaid on a cheque image.
- 5. Apply the template. Click Apply. The template's field coordinates are loaded into your bank account settings.
- 6. Test print on plain paper. Print a test on plain A4, place a blank cheque leaf over it, and hold to the light to verify alignment.
- 7. Fine-tune if needed. Use the alignment fine-tune sliders to nudge any field that is slightly off. Save after adjusting.
- 8. For banks not in the list. Use the Custom Template option to build a new template from scratch using the visual field editor.
